Hello,
I have a 2004 325Ci. I'm thinking of getting my Valentine rader detector hardwired. It really works well. Anyone have any suggestions, reviews, or complaints?

Thanks,
Greg

I would try and wire it off the cigae lighter. Be careful not to tap in anywhere. There are bus wires and other complicted things going on in your car.

I would hard wire it into the switched wire of the stereo, so it would only operate when you turn on the ignition, since I believe the cig. lighter wire is always hot.

Although my first recommendation would be the safest, the easiest thing to do is to run the hot wire to the radio fuse and strip the insulated jacket and place it along the fuse connection prior to re-installing the fuse and be sure to find a solid ground.

Hope this helps,

John
