im looking for instructions on how I can replace my own starter in the drive way!

is this complicated? and am I able to do it without taking it to a shop?

I need to know exactly where it is located and if it is simple to replace with out removing other parts to access the dead starter

(this website is the best)

Standard or automatic?

Since you don't know where it is, I assume that you have not yet tested while in place... do that first, before removing, as you may not have a starter problem but rather an ignition switch problem.

Sorry, LOL... I just noticed the subject heading (but I had a feeling it would be automatic).

The starter is located under the exhaust manifold.

See if this will help you:

If you want to know how to test it before hand (from above)... all you need is a jumper wire from battery
positive to the solenoid trigger wire connector to see if she wants to crank.
