93 eurovan heater core bypass

I recently bought a 93 eurovan, 2.5 5spd, and the heater core has been bypassed. I need to figure out which line is the source (feed) for the coolant to the heater core, and which is the return to the engine. Any help, Bentley page number? I can't seem to figure it out. As it is set up now, there is a line coming out the drivers side of the engine about midway up from the bottom, and it goes (in a short distance) to a T. The other sides of the T go (1) behind the engine and around toward the passenger side to an unknown termination point, and (2) down, toward the passenger side and to the front of the engine. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Hello

At the moment, I only have a copy of the eBahn electronic version of the repair manual to which to refer, but the information should be the same as what's in your book (albeit organized differently). There's a cooling system hose connection diagram which should be in your manual, section C, repair group 19 Engine–Cooling System. I believe the page number is C 19-7.

There is also another cooling hose diagram in section T, repair group 80 Heating/Ventilation. I believe the page number is S 80-24.

However, the factory information is not 100% clear as to which is the supply and which is the return.

Thanks, Jmbhar

I (mistakenly) gave the page number for the cooling hose connection diagram for later-model Eurovans. I have updated my previous post to reflect the correct page number.

Logic says that the hot water goen in from the thermostat housing and out to the top of the engine block. You dont say if you have a diesel car?
