My 2002 Eurovan has a fan or motor engaging for a couple of seconds every 45 seconds with the van turned on or off. It's draining the battery. I cannot pinpoint where the noise is coming from inside the engine compartment. It's not the two rad fans, but the sound is originating is that area. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

It's controlled by a temp sensor in the coolant flange (yellow sensor IIRC).

Mine had the same problem and it was the electric switch behind the ignition lock.
