Anybody ever drive a Routan and compare it to other minivans? How does it handle?

Our '96 Plymouth LT minivan was somewhat mushy in the turns and felt huge compared to our '02 Sienna.

Its a Chrysler, but VW did the interior and re-tuned the suspension on it. Should feel more "European" in how it handles.

I haven't driven one, but did look one over closely at the dealer. They did a nice job of making the interior feel more like a VW, but compared to the high-ceiling open-box VW vans it still feels cramped to me. So - keeping my 91 as a "real" bus, and added an 02 EV MV instead of a Routan for my retirement travel vehicle.
I don't look forward to the coming Americanized VW models planned for US production.

I drove a Chrysler new minivan recently and also rode in the back seat. It was comfortable and easier to get in and out of the back than our 2002 Sienna. I didn't drive it very far or very fast. The lighting in the roof headliner was impressive.
