Replaced rear brake pads. Brakes feel great. Parking brake pulls up to far. Pad wear indicator still on. How are rear brake cables adjusted? How is wear idicator activated, sensor or fluid level? How is it reset? Thanks...Love this car.

Did you use new pad wear indicators? (maybe they are part of the new pads, can't remember) Old ones don't work, I've seen it tried. Check the front brakes. The wear indicator should turn off as soon as new pads are in place and hooked up. Make sure none of the wear indicator wires are rubbing the wheels.

I think the armrest/rear of console needs to be removed to adjust the parking brake. You may be able to get to the nuts by removing the rear ashtray or other bits from it. My info only shows how to adjust with the hand lever assemblly out of the car(but you have to pull armrest console to do that)

Some how while replacing rear pads, hand brake cables came off the equilizer in the console. Works fine now. Thanks! Console is really fun to take apart......
