I do most, I try to do all of my own work. I have a 2001 TT coupe that I've owned from new and now has 145,000 miles on it.
Iíve been fighting an issue with the Haldex, I know for sure it is not engaging. There is a code in the DTC 1155, states interment mechanical failure. I have changed the fluid and filter, found no debris in the filter. I suspect the controller / valve body that is mounted on the clutch housing, but it's a $1000.00 part and I'm not comfortable with throwing one at it unless I'm pretty sure that's whatís up.
Anybody got a clue what triggers an 1155 code?

Here is what is in that memory block now.

Address 22: AWD Labels: 02D-900-554.LBL
Part No: 02D 900 554 B
Component: HALDEX LSC ECC 0006

1 Fault Found:
01155 - Clutch
04-00 - Mechanical Malfunction

Hereís how it started.
