The factory radio's AM reception is absolutely terrible, the worst of any car I have owned. I listen to a lot of AM radio, so this is important to me. Whenever the stations come in at all, I constantly get a loud high-pitched buzzing noise. This sounds like interference from other electronic devices in the car. For a car as refined and expensive as the Audi, this is unacceptable. Is this common? Is there something wrong with my antenna? Where do I start to look? Thanks all!

I have the same problem. Have you guys tried rolling the power windows up and down. Just reseating the power windows position in my TT, some how clears electro inferance from my AM radio reception. Not a fix but a work around that I found.

Actually I had the same problem, pulled the radio, cleaned and tightned the antenna connection at the rear of the radio and it's been fine for a year.
