I have a 1998 A4 1.8 turbo quatro AEB and my turn signals stoped working all of a sudden. I can not find the location of the turn signal flasher in my Benlty repair manual. Can anyone tell me where it is located? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. kjb

Hello

I have checked both the eBahn electronic information as well as the book, and you are correct. The relay location isn't there. Since it doesn't seem to be in eBahn, I would have to assume that this particular component was not included in the factory information.

As such, unfortunately, I have no further information on it. Perhaps someone with direct experience with a similar A4 will know the location.

Built-in / part of the hazard switch, no?

Wiring diagram page number #34/17 shows hazzard switch (with J2 flasher relay) and the turn signal switch next to it. I can scan it for you tonight if you want.

Fuses #2 & #39 also come to mind for checking.

The turn signals are integrated with the hazard flasher. Replace the hazard flasher. Rather easy to do. Remove the facia surrounding the flasher switch and other buttons, and pop out the flasher switch. Replace and you're done.
